Who are the potential buyers for my business?
Answer: In general, buyers are distinguished in three categories:
• Strategic buyers who wish to expand or grow through acquisitions. This category is usually interested in buying the larger medium - sized businesses.
• Investors, who seek high returns, e.g. venture capitalists, and who would most probably request the business owner’s presence in the business, after the sale. This category of buyers is usually focused on the larger of the medium - sized businesses,
• Prospective entrepreneurs. This category represents the vast majority of potential buyers for the small and medium-sized businesses.
